Editorial Policy
The standards behind every insight we publish.
Accuracy and review
The Major Insight uses human editorial review for every published story. Editors are responsible for accuracy, clarity, sourcing, and final publication decisions.
Bylines and contributors
Bylines identify the person responsible for the work or, for collaborative newsroom work, the editorial desk. We do not publish invented biographies, credentials, or expertise.
Story types
We label analysis, news, explainers, guides, reviews, comparisons, reports, and opinion so readers understand the purpose and evidentiary standard of a piece.
Sources and AI
We prioritize primary, authoritative sources. Automated tools may assist research organization and quality checks, but do not replace editorial judgment.
Financial information
Finance coverage is educational and general, not individualized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Readers should consider their circumstances and consult an appropriately qualified professional before acting.
Conflicts and commerce
Advertising, sponsorship, and affiliate relationships are clearly disclosed and kept separate from editorial conclusions. Commercial partners do not receive approval over independent coverage.
